Is anyone keen to head into the hills this weekend? I've got two months and about 5 trips worth of huts left in the Tararua's to bag. They range of easy day walks to intense full weekend trips.

Well, Hazel and I are going to walk in the park.

We are planning to leave here Friday after work and get to South Ohau after 3 hours up the river... Carry on on Saturday passing by Arete hut and heading on to Carkeek, something like 7-8 hours to get there... And out on Sunday...
